After many decades of being a professional artist, I had fallen out of love with painting. It can be tricky to keep the passion going, when art becomes your business. I knew that being an artist had always been my dream and that it was my life's purpose, but that I somehow needed to re-connect with my inner child, the one who loves to play.
As a little girl, I would spend hours with coloured felt tips and was in love with nature and wildlife.
I recently invested in some acrylic paints and acrylic pens and played, bringing in all the colours and the subjects that have forever been close to my heart and, this new collection of artwork is the result.
I hope you feel the same joy my inner child has felt when you look at these paintings and that they may bring joy into your living space.
Signed and titled on the back and ready to hang.
