Biography
Biography: Laure Bury is a Devon-based artist known for her vibrant landscapes, seascapes and colour compositions with butterflies. Her work is exhibited nationally and internationally and her Artfinder clients are from all over the world.
As well as her current practice, Laure is also involved in a variety of creative and cultural projects that continue to inspire her work. These include working in schools and orphanages , facilitating workshops and bringing Art to new audiences through accessible and innovative approaches. The focus is on well-being.
Laure has travelled the world for inspiration but sometimes simply finds it in her own cottage garden on the edge of Dartmoor. Laure is interested in the practise of mindfulness in her painting as well as her daily life. This brings a new energy into her work which is both powerful and uplifting. The message is peaceful and invites the viewer to rejoice in life.
Artist's statement: "I build up many layers of vibrant colourful oils to create texture and emotion. My paintings are a powerful, tangible and universal expression of the triumph of the human spirit".
