🎭 DON QUIXOTE II. – VALIANT KNIGHT

🔶 MY VISION:
With this sculpture, I wanted to capture the proud, unyielding dignity of Cervantes' famous hero, transforming the elongated and fragile silhouette of the tragicomic knight into a powerful vertical monument of inner strength.
The artwork depicts Don Quixote standing tall in an alert, noble posture, balancing a round shield on his arm and holding an extraordinarily long spear that pierces straight into the sky. His slender frame and stylized bearded profile are synthesized into sharp cubistic planes, where the extreme vertical lines of the weapon create a calculated architectural balance with the heavy, grounded mass of his legs.
Through this radical simplification and a multi-layered patina, I frozen a sense of permanent focus, romantic idealism, and a futile struggle against invincible enemies above its solid bronze base.
