Cocktail and cigarette (2025) Original Oil Painting by Marco Modiano
50 x 60 x 2cm (unframed) / 50 x 60cm (actual image size)
£585.61
Original artwork description
The protagonist's gaze is the psychological anchor of the piece. Although she is dressed for a night out and holding social props (a drink and a cigarette), her eyes do not engage with the viewer or anyone within her immediate space, suggesting profound introspection, distraction, or dissociation. There is a subtle vulnerability in her expression—a quiet sadness that contrasts sharply with her bold, theatrical appearance.
