Autumn was warm and sunny. There was little rain, the foliage on the trees gilded and became different shades from red-gold to dark ocher shades. There was already dried grass in the fields, and the village on the slope of a September day shone with its warmth under the rays of the sun. A horse was grazing nearby, playfully shaking its mane.
