A vibrant acrylic painting of a street scene in Bourg D'Oisans, France. This small town is located at the foot of the famous Alpe D'Huez climb, and in summer attracts thousands of cycling fans! I worked in the town one summer and painted this scene more recently from a reference photo. The market was always busy on a Saturday morning, with wheels of cyclists - and large wheels of French cheese!
