  • Biography
Painting is my expressive process and my style is fairly loose, using brushstrokes and semi-mixed colours to create interest. I'm inspired by the natural world and usually work on landscapes and abstracts. Many of my landscapes are of local moorland scenery in Lancashire, where I am now based- though I am also fond of Alpine mountains, having worked a few years in ski resorts in France.
I am developing a body of work based on the Caucasus region and Russia, as I am a Russian-speaker and study Caucasus languages and cultures. Last year I visited the Svaneti region of Georgia and took a lot of inspiration from their mountainous landscapes and unusual architecture.
Please get in touch with any questions and landscape/abstract commission ideas.
