Original artwork description
This painting is an abstract representation reminiscent of a landscape in Arctic Norway. In the foreground is a dark, almost black area reminiscent of a rocky coast or mountain. This area is overlaid by a lighter, almost white layer that looks like snow or ice. The background is a light, almost silvery shade that is reminiscent of the sky or mist. At the bottom of the painting is a narrow blue stripe that could represent the sea or a fjord. The colors and shapes create a cool, Nordic atmosphere reminiscent of the Hurtigruten route along the Arctic Circle. I painted this artwork in 2022 after a exciting journey trough Norway.
This artwork captures the majestic yet rugged beauty of the North.
