A beautiful place to be
Warm sunny hazy blue day,
Late September,
Im overlooking trees, grasses and the pond,
I begin to create,
I feel the colours and energy around me.
Words and expression of painting this scene on location at Moldrams Ground nature reserve, Somerset.
Original impressionist watercolour created from my observation and for my art demonstrations for my YouTube channel.
Extra rough textured watercolour paper acid free, cold pressed, Bockingford 425 gsm 200 lb. Used wet on wet washes using a four colour technique in the Windsor and Newton Cotman range then I pressed the painted, dragged the paint over the wet on wet washes to build up the detail of the trees, grasses, plants. I also etched out the paint with my nail.
