  • Biography
Tetiana Cherevan is a Ukrainian artist and human of the world.
    Born in Cherkasy, Ukraine.
Lives and works in Spane, Ukraine, and Thailand. Graduated from Cherkasy Arts College and Cherkasy National University. I work with acrylics, oils, ink, and pencils. I travel and paint a lot. I participate every year in international exhibitions. I want to sell works on your platform, I heard there are actual sales here. I want to find a home for my paintings. Explores the boundaries of the human body, admissible and inadmissible, and the topic of sexuality and taboos. Oriental traditions and glorifying sexuality in Japanese and Thai culture inspire her. In parallel with this, she studies the traditional attitude of Ukrainians to sexuality, with prohibitions and restrictions that existed in Ukraine throughout the Soviet era. She investigates barriers and horizons in expressing this sexuality. Her mission is to encourage women to look at themselves with admiration by subtly depicting their individuality and rich inner world.

    Event: The body

    Dates: 12 Dec 2023 - 14 Jan 2024

Venue: Test Gallery Barcelona, Barcelona, Carre de Milans, 3 08002 Barcelona, Spain

“The Body” project brings together artists whose artworks are united by the eternal theme of the human body. The body can express emotion and the artist’s vision of beauty, as in paintings by Nicasio Torres, or give the viewer an erotic mood, as in the etudes by Andriy Babchinsky; or reveal fantasies, as in the artworks by Nina Murashkina. Female sexuality is interpreted as a part of nature in art pieces by Javier Garces, and in the sculpture of Xavier Escala, the body becomes a precious container for the person’s inner world. Exploring your’s and your partner’s body could be the way for self-understanding, as in Tetyana Cherevan’s works. Technical accuracy and a deep understanding of the human body’s plasticity will make you fall in love with the art of Ivan Pidhainy.
Invites vou to explore various views on corporeality and to get inspired by the artistic vision of beauty, sensuality and eroticism.

    Sant Lluc
“463” are the four hundred and sixty-three days since the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, a number that will arrive on the opening day of the exhibition, June 1. The + symbol has two meanings: the unknown number of days that the war will continue during the exhibition, as well as the concept of “+18 to enter,” which often denotes sensitive content. The subject of war includes all the components of unacceptable or “sensitive content”—violence, murder, torture, cruelty, aggression, dangerous acts, etc.–and means that the exhibition space is nearly the only space where the horrors of war can be shown without censorship.
The exhibition presents the works of various Ukrainian artists of different levels and status, whether refugees or longer-term Catalan residents. Most of the works presented in the exhibition reflect on the theme of the war.

2018 Conditions, Gallery of Folk Art, Cherkasy, Ukraine
BELLY CONDITIONS STATES Alone with feelings I am the starting point. The world is created for me and revolves around me. A world of peace that will take off in an instant. A world of tenderness that explodes with passion. I am in a state of observation. And then - I am able to participate in these revolutions and explosions… But I always remain the starting point. But Aristotle was wrong - the center of the universe is not too heavy. I am light and elusive, no matter what state I get into. Gone are the days when Tatiana Cherevan was not interested in the male body as an object for her work. But everything is changing. Exploring female images, the artist first carefully supplemented them with male ones, then dedicated several of her series to men, but these experiments were still devoted to the study of female emotions, feelings, and states.

Tetiana Cherevan’s work researches the philosophy of personal relationships and doesn’t shy away from such subjects as shibari, the Japanese art of erotic bondage.
The female figures that emerge through the decorative space of the canvases, interacting harmoniously with its flora and fauna, are at once a source of aesthetic pleasure and a symbol of sensuality, the boundlessness of potential pleasure, passion, and love. The exhibition includes painting and graphic works of the last few years, demonstrating the charismatic artist’s journey:

    Dates: 13 Sep 2017 - 28 Sep 2017

    Venue: Gallery 83, Kyiv, Ukraine

    Ensō: The Circle of Life
The featured series of canvases was born during the artist’s journey to Ko Samui – a Thai island. During the first visit, in 2014, Tetiana and her family came across an abandoned art gallery. The local artist, who had once owned it, died long ago, yet, they met and made friends with his granddaughter. During a new trip to Samui in 2017, Tatiana visited that place again to discover the gallery was in an awful state, with leaking roof, crumbling walls, and paintings, eaten by termites. The artist decided to take and use some of the undamaged canvases in her new project. Such a symbolical gesture of giving the paintings ‘a second life’ becomes even more eloquent considering the images that originally were on them

It is a direct art-to-consumer experience that makes a uniquely refreshing conceptual statement about subjectivity and the commoditization of taste. It offers an intellectual framework where visitors can dare to be themselves for a change.
Parallax Art Fair grew out of an international exhibition called Parallax that was conceived and curated by Dr Chris Barlow in London at the Royal Opera Arcade. Parallax AF London is now into its fourth edition and has exhibited object makers of every kind from all over the world.
Like the original exhibition, at the heart of the fair is the practical exploration of new and radical ideas that developed within the professional discipline of art history. The fair becomes an attempt to make a statement about the very real problems concerning knowledge acquisition and objects designated as contemporary art. These are problems often ignored by the art industry, especially the contemporar

The female figures that emerge through the decorative space of the canvases, interacting harmoniously with its flora and fauna, are at once a source of aesthetic pleasure and a symbol of sensuality, the boundlessness of potential pleasure, passion, and love.

Venue: Premier Event Venue, New York

NYC will be held at New York’s Premier Event Venue, 82 Mercer.

Biography
