  • Biography
I was born and brought up in a small town in the East of Ukraine.  Studied classical painting and drawing at the College of Art for 5 years and graduating in 2002. For the next ten years have been living in Kyiv, Ukraine. Currently, I residing in Saint-Petersburg in Russia as one of the most artistic places in Europe.

Being a student I admired old masters and impressionists.  Since 2009  I’m studying realistic painting and drawing from leading Ukrainian and Russian artists. The other method I've chosen is copying old-masters. I think this is great for improving skills and researching how did they get such powerful results. Though I think that realism is not only skills but a special vision deeper than a camera.

My main aim is humanistic art. I keep in my mind that all people need hope. I see the paintings as one of the sources.
