About Senia Baloyan

Biography

Senia Baloyan was born in 2005 in the village of Shirakavan, Shirak Province, Armenia. She completed her general education at Shirakavan Secondary School between 2011 and 2023, before pursuing her passion for the visual arts at the highest level.

Since 2023, Senia has been studying painting at the Gyumri Branch of the State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia, where she continues to develop her artistic voice and technical craft.

Her talent has been recognized through a number of distinctions. She received a special award in the "My Church" competition, organized by the Araratyan Values Educational Foundation. She has participated in several group exhibitions and, in 2026, held her first solo exhibition titled "AnTes" at the Pheonix Development Center — a milestone that marked her emergence as a distinctive individual artistic presence.

Her work has also been exhibited at Gallery 25 in Gyumri, one of the city's established contemporary art spaces.

Still early in her journey, Senia Baloyan is a young artist of genuine promise, rooted in the culture and landscape of Armenia's Shirak region and steadily building a body of work that reflects both her heritage and her evolving creative vision.
