This series of paintings is dedicated to the Armenian Genocide.
A dark vessel with a solitary mast and a small red flag emerges from the lower depths of the canvas — a ghost ship adrift in a vast white void. Above, an orange wound bleeds across the composition, circled by looping black marks that hover like unresolved questions or broken chains. Green, terracotta, and deep shadow frame the lower register, anchoring the ship in a world of irreversible loss. The white expanse above is not peace — it is erasure, absence, the silence after catastrophe. Painted with quiet devastation in oil on canvas by Senia Baloyan, this work is a vessel carrying memory across time.
