About Regina Mailloux

Biography

Regina Mailloux is a New England based oil painter.  Growing up in Southern New Hampshire, she was instilled with romantic ideals from a young age and immersed herself in the culture of the region, frequenting its many art galleries.  She took every art class in school and even was awarded the cover of her high school literary magazine.

Her favorite subject to paint is feminine portraits and she enjoys implementing fantasy, expressionistic and surrealistic aspects into her art.  Her favorite artists are from the Pre-Raphaelite movement, and she takes inspiration from their works and themes.  Her meticulous attention to detail, combined with her ability to infuse her paintings with a sense of dreaminess, has garnered her a devout following worldwide.

Her work has been featured in Boston Voyager magazine, 2019, as well as many local New England galleries. She is currently a member of Star Dust Art Collective on Facebook which is an international group of curated artists who auction their work bi-monthly.  Regina welcomes inquiries, commissions, and collaborations.  To stay up to date with her latest inspirations, creations, and exhibitions, follow her on social media.
