My art explores the process of healing from the wounds inflicted by others, particularly through words. I describe my paintings as unconventional, reflecting how I have often felt throughout my life. My canvases are non-conforming and entirely handmade, representing the uniqueness of each individual, while the white rectangles serve as a metaphor for other people’s expectations. These rectangles adhere to standard formats much like the expectations they symbolize.
