About Lukasz Olek

  • Biography
My creative process is driven by a deep need for meditation and a unique way of perceiving the world through synesthesia. As an artist with ADHD and autism, I found my sanctuary on the open road; I travel alone on a motorcycle to the most remote places, where I translate the rhythm of music and the scent of the morning mist into colors and textures. I don't just paint landscapes; I record "Horizons of Silence". My work is a diary of specific moments and emotions, simplified to their essence. I am fascinated by the tension between the physical world and the emotional memory of it. Using a technique of multiple impasto layers and aggressive scratching, I create three-dimensional structures that change with the daylight. For me, art is a way to prove that a single moment, captured through a specific song or a misty sunrise, can permanently alter how we perceive reality.

    Event: Horizons of Silence

    Dates: 11 Sep 2025 - 1 Dec 2025

    Venue: Fijewski Gallery, Konstancin-Jeziorna

Horizons of Silence does not compete for attention in a noisy world. It does
not shout. Instead, it whispers. In an age when images fight to pierce through
algorithms and distraction, Olek’s paintings invite us into a slower rhythm,
where color heals and silence liberates. His works do not end on the gallery
wall; they linger in the mind, like the view from a car window at dawn, like
the scent of autumn fog, like the final breath of summer.
