Call of the Search (2024)
“The most profound discoveries are made in the places where no one else goes. It is in the heart of the pink silence, where the world dissolves into mist, that we finally find what we weren’t even aware we were looking for.”

* The Powdered Sanctuary: This 90 x 90 cm abstract landscape is an immersive study in atmosphere and solitude. It depicts a world veiled in a delicate, "powdery" pink mist—a place of absolute stillness where the boundaries between the earth and the ether become beautifully blurred. By applying the Blinkered method to this square format, I have created a composition that pulls the viewer into a soft, hazy center, offering a sense of sanctuary far from the noise of the outside world.

* The Musical Cipher: The title Call of the Search is a key coordinate in my "sonic diary." It references a specific, ambient track that captures the feeling of a solitary journey through an unknown but welcoming landscape. I invite the collector to find the auditory vibration that matches these muted roses and ethereal greys; only when the music’s calm tempo aligns with the translucent layers of the linen is the true frequency of this "quiet search" unlocked.

* Hazy Depth: Executed on premium linen canvas, the work’s surface is a testament to the power of subtlety. Using unconventional DIY tools like sponges and soft rags, I built dozens of paper-thin glazes to create a "kaleidoscopic" fog. The warm, earthy tones at the base ground the painting, while the expansive pink sky invites the mind to wander, making this contemporary painting a perfect, meditative anchor for a space dedicated to peace and reflection.
