Biography
Belarusian-born Liudmila (Lucie) Pisliakova is a passionate self-taught artist based in the beautiful coastal town of Broughty Ferry, Scotland. Having lived across three continents — including time in the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, and Tokyo — she draws on her diverse cultural experiences to infuse depth and emotion into her work.
Liudmila works primarily with oil and tempera paints and silverpoint, mediums that allow her to express her inner thoughts and emotions with sensitivity and precision. Inspired by Scotland’s landscapes, culture, and people, her paintings reflect the beauty of everyday life — flowers and sunlight, blue skies and green grass, rolling waves, and the joy found in human connection.
She regularly exhibits her work in galleries, participates in art fairs, and takes part in local exhibitions. Liudmila feels honoured by the recognition and awards her art has received and is grateful that her paintings have found homes with collectors around the world.
