Biography
This condition, speculated to have affected historic artists like Seurat and Van Gogh, and contemporary artist Yayoi Kusama, infuses Jennifer's creations with a dynamic and energetic quality. Repetition is a crucial element in her work, with the use of repeated abstract marks and shapes serving to depict the constant visual noise she experiences. This distinct perspective provides a glimpse into her unique view of the world, drawing inspiration from both microscopic details and expansive aerial views. Her distinctive style features bold colour palettes and intricate patterns that transform visual noise into stunning abstract representations.
With over 25 years of prolific experience as an artist, designer, and illustrator, Jennifer holds a degree in Fine Art and has a rich background that spans art direction and running her own gallery. In 2004, she shifted from managing a physical gallery to showcasing her artwork online. This transition not only broadened her reach, allowing her to connect with collectors across continents — from Australia and New Zealand to North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia — but also afforded her the freedom to travel extensively.
Today, Jennifer is based in her sunny Brisbane studio, where she continues to inspire and engage audiences worldwide. Her work, represented in private and corporate collections globally, is celebrated for its ability to capture the beauty hidden in the visual chaos of everyday life.
