  • Biography
Within my art, I seek to unearth a formula for an abstract landscape. I do not merely portray places I visited, I endeavor to reveal a sense of place and movement in my paintings. My representation of nature, occasionally unfinished, raw, or minimalistic, offers a serene refuge from life's tumult, soothing the soul. My aspiration is to kindle a profound connection between viewers and the land, across its myriad moods, seasons, sensations, and destinations.
    Biography
Bo Kravchenko is an American contemporary artist of Ukrainian origin.
He got his Master’s degree in Book Graphics at the Kyiv State Academy of Arts and started painting in 2010 after a long and successful career in creative advertising.
His both parents were artists, and art was the focus at home. After graduation, Bogdan published sixteen books with his book illustrations, and then for many years worked at creative agencies in Europe until he found himself on the East coast of Florida. Under the impression of its beauty, he felt the pull to return to painting and photography. Having spent a life collaborating with galleries, artists, and designers, he had a clear idea of what he wanted to work on. Soon he was able to work full-time as a painter, selling his artworks through festivals and online art galleries, and participating in solo and group exhibitions. Today, Bogdan sells his paintings to collectors all over the world and exhibits extensively. After a decade of painting his favorite landscape theme, he has gained confidence and technical skills. Today, he tends to work on a larger scale and abstractly, with a focus on light, textures, and how the landscape works in an abstract context.

    Event: Just My Height

    Dates: 4 Mar 2017 - 10 Feb 2017

Venue: Aventura Mall, 2460 SW 18th Avenue, #1307, Miami, FL

Whether it's abstract or realistic, contemporary or classic, young children love fine art. But most fine art shows exclude children as part of the audience by displaying the artwork too high for them to see. Just My Height Art Shows (JMH) defies convention by displaying fine art at just 36 inches high, or about the eye level of a young child (waist-level for the average adult). With governments cutting back on arts funding and school districts slashing their arts education budgets, it’s critical that we find other ways to expose children to fine art in order to cultivate the art creators, collectors, and patrons of the future. JMH strives to do this with its innovative, yet simple, approach to hanging fine art shows.

For the show in March of 2017, the hosts will organize hands-on art activities for the children (and adults!) to enjoy, and, as has become a tradition at JMH events, a scavenger hunt will be developed based on the artwork in the show.

Event: The Nude Nite Art Show

    Dates: 16 Feb 2017 - 19 Feb 2017

Venue: Downtown Orlando, 639 W. Church St. Orlando FL 32805 639 West Church Street Orlando Florida

Three evenings of art and entertainment at the largest art exhibition dedicated solely to the nude figure. More than 200 original works of art will be shown and for sale. Burlesque, interactive installations, performance art and world class body painters will create an unforgettable night of art.
