About Bertrand de Vismes

I live in France and practise watercolour. I realise large-format painrings (raisin, 70x90 cm and more), with broad, luminous brushstrokes and an expressive, economical line. My subjects include urban scenes, seascapes, figures, and travel landscapes. I have been exhibiting regularly since 2006, including at the Salon du dessin et de la peinture à l'eau at the Grand Palais in Paris. My work is currently represented by galleries in Paris, Honfleur, Saint-Jean-de-Luz, as well as in Austria and, shortly, in New York.
