As often happens, my first encounter with photography came from my family: I inherited a camera and enlarger from my father, and I learned the habit of pressing the shutter from my grandmother, who loved photography. I spent my school years in Georgia, where I also attended a local photography club. I now live between two countries: Russia and Georgia, in two of the world’s most beautiful cities: St. Petersburg and Tbilisi, which is largely reflected in my work.

Over time, photography has become an integral part of my life and is already my professional activity. Photography is very important to me, it helps me to see, feel and comprehend what is happening more deeply. I shoot not out of obligation, but out of inner necessity and interest — in the person, the light, the urban environment, the intonation of the street and authentic moments.

That is why I am especially attracted to street photography, reportage and documentary observation of life.

I have participated as an author in both group and solo photographic exhibitions, as well as in various Russian and international photography competitions.
