I have been drawing and painting since I was a little girl however only just recently decided to treat art more seriously. After 12 years of working in an administration I have decided to change my profession and became a full time artist. I finished an art and design course in New College Nottingham and since then Art has become my full time job.I am a self taught artist who tries different techniques and like to experiment with different media, I like painting in ink, water-colours and most of all my favourite oils. Recently I started to mix other media with oils to create more interesting textures. It is an amazing journey to see how an empty, white canvas can be filled in with its own story. I love spending time close to the nature hence I am inspired by landscapes, seascapes, beautiful skies and trees. My works are exhibited in local galleries such as Mish Mach in Beetston, Henry Brewer Galleries in West Brigdford and Loughborouh, Four Walls in Melton Mowbray and Long acre Studio in Bingham. Some of my works are avaibale on in my studio in Cotgrave or during art fairs.
