Alla Kallass is a self-taught oil painter based in London, Canada. While her path to painting wasn’t traditional, her commitment is unmistakably rigorous—shaped by sleepless nights, motherhood, and a disciplined creative practice. Her work prioritizes atmosphere, emotion, and authentic connection over sterile perfection.

A lifelong art lover, Alla spent years in an educational setting before she ever imagined a life devoted to creating. That spark became a calling through extensive travel across Europe, Northeast Africa, and Asia. Immersed in museums and galleries while studying the Old Masters, she found the language she’d been searching for—until 2021, when she returned to the brush as a source of happiness and renewal.

Each painting is a distinctive story, rendered with a striking sense of presence and depth. Alla’s work moves fluidly between figurative art, landscapes, florals, and seascapes, exploring mood through color, texture, and technique. Florals and water are especially central to her practice, often capturing nature’s quiet power and beauty at its most evocative.

“I feel most myself while painting; it brings me joy and happiness, and I hope it will bring the same to you,” Alla says. Inspired by the beauty of nature, travel, and personal memory, she creates premium oil works designed to transform the spaces they enter—and the people who live with them.
