About Akacius Vegh

Biography

I'm Akacius Vegh from Hungary. I create sculptures from carbon fiber composites that represent "life events". I express it mainly with the tree of life motif, but I also use other theme to illustrate this. My style is "modern impressionist" with a little bit of abstract influence. A slightly rough appearance, but perfectly formed proportions and shapes in the most minimalist way as possible, which is further emphasized by the raw carbon fiber.

I enjoy making sculpture from modern carbon fiber composite materials. I would like to share the holographic shine and timeless-modern radiance of this material, as well as my stlye with the general public. Typically for produced of this material must be use a mould, so it is almost impossible to create complex, independent shapes. Therefore, over the years I have developed a unique technique for my sculptures, to be able to create my imagined style, which is the main theme: The variability of life.

I hope that when the people contemplate my sculptures when life is difficult, they will be given strength, or if everything is going well, they will be grateful. In addition, it has a timeless-minimalist style, which looks great in a room of this style.
