Original artwork description
In my online course, I showed how to begin an abstract painting using self-colored paper. Inspired after teaching, I decided to experiment on two canvases at home, limiting myself to yellow and red. As the colors spread, I reached a stage where the painting felt all wrong. Frustration set in, and I felt stuck. Gathering my courage, I boldly reworked sections of the canvas. Suddenly, shapes that seemed to almost move emerged. Once I finished them, satisfaction finally settled in.
