I wanted to capture the bright but low light of the winter sun over the Thames. Albert Bridge is the prettiest of all that cross the Thames and it begs to be painted! The low sun creates high tonal contrasts, especially in the water reflections.
This is framed in a Whistler style bespoke frame in grey with a white slip and gold beading to complement the colours.
