£78.00

From an edition of 5

Size 40 x 30 cm (unframed)

This small-scale watercolor is based on my own body and on the act of posing for myself. Painted by organic pigment (beetroot and lemon juice), the image oscillates between flesh and fluid, exposure and disappearance. The boundaries of the body are porous, as if intimacy itself were undoing its structure.

The figure is not observed from a distance but emerges from within an intimate, self-directed encounter. The work records a private relation — not as a stable image, but as a shifting field of sensations. The body appears fragmented, leaking, and unstable, refusing to hold a clear contour. It is not represented as an object, but as something that dissolves in the very moment of its formation.

Rather than documenting identity, this work traces an experience of being with oneself — where the body becomes multiple, uncontained, and partially unrecognizable.

It is signed and comes with a Certificate Of Authenticity.

All paintings are packed very carefully in cardboard boxes with generous layers to protect them.

Materials used:

beetroot and lemon juice on Canson Montval 300 g. watercolour paper
