Walking on The Dream 130 x 120 cm, Acrylic on 3D Linen

"Walking on The Dream" is a synesthetic interpretation of a precise moment: gazing at the soft, rolling clouds as a warm summer day chiles towards a quiet evening. Part of the Blinkered series, this work serves as a page from my personal visual diary, where memories are recorded through the lens of music and sensory experience. While reminiscent of the color-field tradition, the piece is deeply rooted in the "honesty of the material"—using heavy-duty European linen to ground the ethereal subject matter.

The technical execution involves a deliberate contrast between delicate glazing and thick impasto. I apply vibrant, living colors only to systematically "tone them down" with subsequent layers, often using aggressive scraping to reveal the hidden history of the painting's first marks. This process ensures that the work remains "quiet" yet complex, allowing the viewer to discover new nuances over time. As I often say: I create for myself things which you eventually buy.

My works are held in private collections worldwide and have been exhibited in major art hubs including London, New York, Miami, Paris, Chicago, and Amsterdam, with upcoming features in Berlin and Vilnius.
