This minimalist black and white photograph of a saw is part of the ongoing series 'Quiet Matter', in which ordinary natural objects and found objects are isolated from their original context.

Reduced to a single horizontal line, the serrated edge becomes an abstract landscape suspended in darkness. Light reveals the irregular rhythm of each tooth, where traces of wear and oxidation quietly record the passage of time. Stripped of function and scale, the object is transformed into a study of repetition, texture and silence, inviting a slower way of seeing.

Printed as an archival pigment print on Hahnemühle Photo Rag 305 gsm, each print is produced in a limited edition of five, individually signed and numbered by the artist, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
