Original artwork description
I’m developing new work looking at neglected and discarded objects that have their own provenance and story, creating a narrative that is fundamental to my painting. United with this is the anticipation that 'life will find a way' . Completely fascinating and ever evolving.
This piece shows a fallen chandelier in a disused and abandoned house. However nature always finds a foothold and life is springing up everywhere in bursts of flowers, birds, insects and verdant greens. For me this feels a very positive painting.
Materials used:
oil and acrylic
Details:
- Oil painting on Canvas
- One of a kind artwork
- Size: 71.12 x 109.22 x 3.81cm (unframed) / 71.12 x 109.22cm (actual image size)
