The painting was done with new modern "Oil Dry Brush" technique. Oil dry brush is a painting technique in which a paint brush is relatively dry, but still holds paint, is used. The very thin layer of color is applied to a paper. Dry brush is layered layer after layer and reworked with an eraser, at this point it is possible to incorporate different lighting effects and details. Images painted with a dry brush appears similar to a photo.
In the last 6 years I became extraordinarily interested in painting with oil on paper, using dry brush technique. It is not an easy technique, which requires a lot of time to learn and master. It is an exceptionally rare technique and just brilliant for hypperrealistic paintings.
Artwork mounted and framed. Beautiful wood frame and Plexiglass. Plexiglas UV 100 AR (Anti-Glare) has a slightly matted antiglare surface on one side, which diffuses reflections from windows or lamps, for example. Plexiglas UV 100 Highest UV-protection.
