About Danguole Serstinskaja

Biography

Danguole Serstinskaja is a Lithuanian artist best known for her emotionally intense animal portraits and fantasy-inspired works, created in a highly realistic style. Her art has received over 80 international awards, including multiple first-place prizes and the prestigious Masterpiece Winner title in 2018.

She primarily works in oil, acrylic, and dry brush technique. Although she has created a few works in soft pastel, this medium is used only occasionally. Most of her artworks are black and white, allowing her to focus on mood, emotion, and the inner world of her subjects. In selected pieces, she explores the realm of color through imagination and dreamlike compositions. Her hyperrealistic style captures the soul of animals—especially through expressive eyes and subtle facial nuances.

With decades of experience, Danguole continues to evolve artistically, blending classical realism with imaginative storytelling. Her dedication to fine detail and emotional depth has earned her recognition from collectors and galleries around the world.

Currently represented by Parcus Gallery, Austria. Previously represented by SoHo Gallery (Sweden) and Alessandro Berni Gallery (New York)
