Artwork description
The title is taken from a line in the hymn 'The Lord's my shepherd'. Nearby me, River Wissey is scarce more than a drain, its humility part of its appeal. You might expect quiet waters to be the default situation in British life but I have never found it so. I notice quiet waters only lay on the other side of the squall.
This is an original letterpress print pulled from rubber plates. The image is c. 8 x 10½ inches with a 1½ inch margin all around with some extra at the foot. I can trim the sheet to a particular size if you wish. All materials used are of high quality. Please feel free to contact me to put a question or make a remark.
