Original artwork description:

Painted on canvas stiffened with glue and sand, the latter element symbolizing the ephemeral, which, in the present creation, lent its base to a work inspired by an immortal masterpiece, the Divine Comedy. The ephemeral and one of the greatest works of literature of all time come together in a circle-shaped support, an emblem of perfection. Perfection in which there are symbolic allusions of Hell, Purgatory and Paradise, in whose immense light appears the figure of Beatrice with olive fronds on her head, spiritually towering over Dante.

Materials used:

Oil paints on canvas treated with gesso and glue
