He is having some rest but looks focused and determined despite his tired thin body. The olive tree prepresents everything to the man; his hope for a better future, the future of the next generations. The camel, his compagnion, a symbol for strengh, patience, and resilience, is imposing in the picture giving the man dominance over the vast desert, a place that resembles our world,
