Inspired by the opulence and fragile theatricality of Marie Antoinette, The Last Breath Before Dream reimagines a baroque feminine presence suspended beneath water , somewhere between memory, silence, and transformation.

The figure exists in a dreamlike state of surrender. Waves dissolve into fabric, bubbles drift into celestial forms, and the painted surface moves like fragmented recollection. Rich blues, luminous whites, and flashes of electric color create a tension between decay and beauty, restraint and emotional overflow.

Part of an ongoing underwater series exploring inner worlds through water as both a psychological and spiritual element, the work reflects themes of femininity, fragility, excess, and transcendence.
