Energy is often born from conflict—from tension, collision, and opposition. When that struggle comes to an end, it can leave us depleted and exhausted… or unexpectedly transformed, stronger than before. With this work, I wanted to explore a different outcome. Rather than focusing on weariness, I chose bold, luminous colors to express vitality, resilience, and the empowering force that can emerge from adversity. This idea is reflected in the title. The work is created on a 0.08-inch (2 mm) sheet of Plexiglas®, painted black on the reverse side. The front surface is built up with expressive brushstrokes of wall plaster, creating a tactile interplay of texture, depth, and light.
