The Garden Inside the House (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Linda Jones

Leaf shapes from an indoor garden I visited in summer. I played with paler greens and lines as texture in this piece. The repeated, short lines give a feeling of texture but there is also very real texture in the form of fabric and threads incorporated into the work. I painted it horizontally but it would also work as a vertical image. It forms part of the green series I’ve been working on this year. The artwork will be removed from the stretcher bars and shipped in a sturdy postage tube for ease of shipping. Simply take it to your local framer to be stretched.
