This painting captures a tree from my garden at the moment it transforms into a cascade of light. The tree blooms in early spring and has the power to illuminate the whole garden at a time when nature is just awakening from its winter slumber. For me, the laburnum is not just a plant, but a quiet sign of the beginning of a new cycle. I painted its flowers in layers, as if they were dissolving into the air – capturing the movement and lightness of that moment.

I tried to capture not only the tree’s appearance, but also the feeling it evokes in me: joy, tranquillity and a quiet anticipation of summer.
