Original artwork description
The fairy flowers original watercolour was inspired by my feelings and love for flower pattern design.
I started with the ethereal back washes of dreamy colours and just seeing foxgloves, wild flowers in my local Wincombe woods.
Over the wet on wet washes I dabbed or dropped the pigments on daintily. I used a small filbert brush and Chinese brush for the flowers, interspersing the paint. Scraping out the paint for the grasses.
I just get into the flow when I paint,
I used cold pressed watercolour paper Fabriano 300 gsm 140lb.
Japanese watercolours.
Signed on the front and back of artwork.
