I was in San Diego recently and saw this surfer with his VW van parked along an area called Sunset Cliffs. My husband used to frequent this place when he was in high school so I felt compelled to take this photo and paint it. I used palette knife and brushes on this 16x20x1.5 gallery wrapped canvas using acrylic and oil. Painted edges, ready to hang.
