A sunflower with golden yellow petals and a dark center. The flower is accented by a background of textured brushstrokes in red, orange and blue, with green leaves at the top left and lower right. Painted from life with oil on board using both brush and palette knife. The center of the flower is enhanced by thickly textured paint applied with palette knife. The petals and background also contain texture from the brushstrokes. Framed in a 3" wide wood frame with a with a mahogany colored finish. It may be purchased unframed by request.
