Stream of Light (2024) Original Oil Painting by Antonino Puliafico

Antonino Puliafico’s "Stream of Light" is an original oil painting on canvas in which colour, rhythm and material gesture are reinterpreted through a contemporary, tactile language. Measuring 100 × 120 cm and dated 2025, the work balances immediate visual impact with close-range surface detail.

Through palette knife and impasto, Puliafico lets colour accumulate, break apart and reconnect across a visibly worked surface. A blue, yellow and pink palette contributes to the work’s chromatic rhythm.

In “Stream of Light,” Antonino Puliafico transports us to a wooded scene awash in dazzling color. Tall trees burst with leaves in shades of pink, yellow, orange, and blue, while a narrow stream reflects the vibrant palette under a softly glowing sky.

The work balances immediacy and detail, offering both a strong visual impact in the room and a richly textured surface for close viewing.

For shipping, the canvas is carefully protected and sent in a heavy-duty tube with tracking, together with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Materials used:

First-rate oil colors of the Florentine brand "DI VOLO" applied with spatula were used for the painting, and the pictorial support is a cottono canvas pre-painted for oil painting with Gesso and Glue.
