Stoke Wood Bluebells (2013) Linocut by Alexandra Buckle

A reduction linocut of a carpet of bluebells in my local woods.

A reduction print is a relief print formed with layers of colour that are cut and printed from the same block, in this case, from lino. This is one of a small edition of prints, all of which are printed by hand so small variations occur between them making each one truly original.

Materials used:

Printed on Somerset Satin with water-based light-fast inks. Mounted to fit into a standard 12 x 16 inch frame.
