Songlines I (2020) Original Acrylic Painting by Paul J Best

A bright and optimistic paintings which is an effort to express some colour therapy and a sense of optimism in the current challenging times. This paintings in inspired by the 'Songlines ' explained by Bruce Chatwin in his 1987 book where he describes a trip to Australia researching Aboriginal song and its connections to nomadic travel in the Austrailan landscape. I have used my characteristic use of reflective paints to convey light and mood.

Created on a recycled deep box canvas, painted black on the sides, so you may choose not to frame. However I believe that the painting would greatly benefit from framing.

Initialed on the front and signed on the back and supplied with a certificate of authenticity.

Corded and ready to hang.
