The painting is a tribute to the fantastic novel of the same name by Stanislav Lem. *Solaris* is about humanity’s encounter with extraterrestrial life—but also with itself. This serene painting depicts a surreal, abstract seascape: a green-blue sea with a coastline in shades of red, orange, yellow, and violet. I painted this mysterious landscape freely from my feelings, inspired by Stanislav Lem’s novel. The sides of the painting are painted so that it can be hung without a frame. The painting is signed on the front and back and is ready to hang. The surface of the painting has a protective varnish layer with UV protection.
