Artist's description:

A set of four individual mini reduction linocuts inspired by a drive home in the snow when the sun set beautifully creating a wonderfully colourful sky.
Each individual piece has a printed area of 7.5cm x 10cm. These prints will not be sold separately.

I have named the prints after the the places we passed on our drive home from Aylesbury to Bicester on the A41. The first is Wescott, the second is Wotton Underwood, then Ludgershall and Piddington - convenient to help title the works, but I don't think you have to know these places to appreciate the artworks.

A reduction print is a relief print formed with layers of colour that are cut and printed from the same block, in this case, from lino. There are six sets of prints in total. All of the works are printed by hand so small variations occur between them making each one truly original.

These works are printed with water-based, light-fast inks on Somerset Satin paper and have a beautiful matt finish. They are numbered, titled and signed at the bottom. The works will arrive attractively wrapped together in cellophane to keep them clean. They can be mounted and framed together as one piece, or as four individual pieces.

The artworks will be packaged in a bubble envelope with plenty of card support for safety.
