Smile Your Voice (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Ketki Fadnis

"Smile Your Voice" explores joy as an intuitive and non-verbal form of expression. Layers of blue, green, purple and yellow unfold across the surface, creating a shifting interplay of colour, rhythm and gesture.

The painting develops through repetitive mark-making, where each line becomes an individual trace of movement and emotion. Rather than depicting a specific subject, these marks create an open visual language—one that allows feeling to emerge through colour, rhythm and the accumulation of layers.

At its core, the work reflects on the quiet ways in which emotion communicates itself. A smile can hold presence, warmth and optimism without the need for words. "Smile Your Voice" invites the viewer to engage with this subtle language of joy, allowing their own experiences and emotions to shape what they see.
