Original artwork description:

I wanted to paint these sisters together but side by side poses looked too conventional. So I got them to lay on the floor. After a bit of larking around, they positioned themselves in opposite directions, resulting in this composition.
They are very close, and I like the way that they cupped each other's faces in a tender way. It also adds a slight symmetry to the composition.

Sibs is painted on a chunky box canvas with the edges painted a sort of taupe.
Sibs will be packaged well supported in hardboard with foam edging.

Materials used:

oil
